  • Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data memorialized in data warehouses through Cheetah and other fleet technologies used by all fleet drivers and their dispatchers.
  • Responsible for analysis and recommendations thereon of fleet delivery data utilizing tools such as SQL/Oracle, Access, and Excel.
  • Responsible for the design and maintenance of daily routes using Cheetah and similar technologies.
  • Evaluate daily route activity for each delivery unit in the fleet to ensure optimal utilization while meeting or exceeding customer delivery expectations. Determine excessive time at stops and work directly with third-party provider, customer, and/or Fisher Sales staff to drive efficiency at the point of delivery to enhance productivity.
  • Accountable for annual budget in excess of $17 million. Role responsible for the migration of common carrier deliveries to the fleet through identification of cost savings opportunities. 2019 Annual Savings targeted in excess of $750,000.

  • Develop and execute new fleet tactical plan through daily route structures.
  • Develop, monitor, measure, and report on fleet metrics for productivity, cost effectiveness, on-time delivery, loss and damages, and POD compliance.

  • Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of private fleet operations and DOT regulations for Hazardous Materials transport, DOT regulations for driver work hours, driver qualifications and vehicle safety and security.
  • Familiarity with Dynamic Routing concepts and territory planning processes. Actual experience with Dynamic Routing applications a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computing in general. Knowledge of data base principles and ability to formulate and execute queries required. Experience with SQL Server a plus.
  • Ability to work with others, and in particular, third-party Fleet Management Provider.
  • Knowledge of tractor, trailer, and straight truck vehicle specifications with a the knowledge and ability to specify, order, effectively negotiate, and contract/lease new equipment.
  • Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
