In this role you will Lead the Provider Access & Trade capability within Commercial Data & Analytics, to consolidate, enhance, and improve capacity of provider/ patient access and trace related analytics. - Position is chartered as an important leadership role for pro-active opportunity and best practice assessments of pull-through efforts in the provider access and trade channel areas. In this context, this role augments the omnichannel analytics leadership role with specialized experience, knowledge, and skill as it pertains to data and analytics.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following
Liaise with MMGA team in building the last mile of patient data repository from healthplan to provider office, for the purpose of composing bottom-up access & reimbursement analyses which will inform and determine broader omnichannel (and particularly field sales) pull-through efforts
Partner with MMGA in leveraging Farview tool, for deriving differentiated access and reimbursement levels for patient groups insured through particular healthplans, and subsequently determine optimum levels of engagement through field force or other means
Develop, maintain, and periodically refresh playbooks for analytics standard practices, including ways to generate and collect data for measurement of effectiveness, ROI
Provide hands-on coaching and direction to analysts (internal and retained third party)
Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including Marketing, Sales, Digital, Finance, and Technology teams; ex-U.S. commercial pharma analysts
Drive optimal strategic & tactical decision-making for brands/segments through identification and execution of timely, actionable, and methodologically sound analyses using SAS or similar modeling tools to complete analyses
Deliver strategic advice on provider access and trade opportunities
Lead, at times hands-on, in the Development of algorithms, code, hypotheses, models driving and optimizing access/ reimbursement and trade channel engagement across the USP portfolio; seek to automate and industrialize such algorithms, etc. for predictive and prescriptive modeling and action advise for various commercial staff (Marketing, Sales, other)
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Graduate degree in Business (MBA), in Science (M.Sc) incl. Computer Sciences and Operations Research, or in Economics (M. Econ.), or related
10+ years of professional experience, full-time employment, of which the most recent three years at GSK, in a peer company of GSKs, or in leading global management consulting firm, with focus on U.S. pharma commercial data and analytics
Methodological hands-on mastery and conceptual leadership of relevant analytical approaches and models, including promotional response, multi-channel engagement, various channel, campaign, and tactics best practices, etc.; SAS and/ or R programming experience highly desired
Deep knowledge in and experience with at least two of GSK U.S. Pharma relevant commercial areas, Primary Care (particularly Respiratory), Specialty (Immunology, Oncology), Vaccines
Functional leadership of teams, and success in achieving high-performing team levels
