Senior Director of NA Marketing is a multi-faceted role that oversees and sets
the marketing strategy for our NA member base, including weeks, points and
clubs lines of business. This includes a
strong focus on member activation (driving engagement through vacation exchange
as well as rental) as well as ensuring inventory growth through member backed
deposit strategies. This role is
responsible for providing thought leadership, setting strategic direction,
collaborating with other key executives across the business and driving the
appropriate results in order to meet the overall business objectives. They are expected to make key marketing
decisions and decipher when to escalate any decisions that require input from
the rest of the marketing leadership team.
This
role will oversee and manage a team that is responsible for the day-to-day
marketing campaign development and execution.
These activities include developing and launching multi-channel
marketing campaigns, determining appropriate promotional offer strategy,
working with external partners/vendors/agencies to support our respective
marketing initiatives, managing budgets and optimizing the overall customer
experience for our valued RCI members.
In addition to the marketing strategy and plan, ensure consistent
support and execution of the enterprise segmentation strategy across the team.
The Senior Director will interface with other key personnel both internal and
external to the organization in order to truly assess and understand business
needs. This will be key for this role to
prioritize efforts that have the largest impact on our business. This person will identify and oversee the
development and execution of relevant campaigns that drive demand into our
sales channels by leveraging insights from consumer data, analytics,
segmentation, targeting and robust testing techniques in order to drive
results. They will also be proficient in
all marketing channels, including direct mail, email, SMS/text, push
notifications, social media, online display, telemarketing and print
advertising.
The
Senior Director will be a strong leader and manager of people. Excellent coaching, mentoring, and
prioritization skills are a must, along with the ability to develop
personalized development plans for their marketing team members in order to
grow their skills and nurture their marketing careers. The Senior Director directly manages a team
of 6 marketing team members including 2 Senior Managers','!*!EducationCollege degree required. MBA or Masters degree in Business strongly preferredTraining requirements DMA Certified Marketing Professional mandatory. Knowledge and skills Broad marketing skills and experience, including digital marketing as well as traditional marketing; proven multi-channel marketing campaign success across direct mail, email, SMS/text, mobile app, print, telemarketing and web channelsStrong ability to understand data and analytics/trends with proven success delivering on key metrics includingROMI, retention, penetration, customer acquisition, transaction propensity, and average revenue per customer/member/orderSignificant experience with test and learn strategies, marketing measurement, and marketing statisticsProven ability to develop successful and effective consumer marketing strategies and plans; superb interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to understand complex
business arrangements and issues, with the ability to deep dive into issues in order to overcome challengesAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience in managing key stakeholder relationships internally and externallySolid fiscal management experience, preferably experience managing a multi-million dollar marketing budgetDemonstrated experience in driving multi-million dollar revenue streams from consumersExcellent computer and mobile working skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, cloud-based document storage applications, etc.)Technical SkillsSuperior skills in MS Office - Word, Excel and Powerpoint.Ability to construct compelling Powerpoint presentations based on target audience.
