TITLE: Estimator / Construction Project Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Construction and Development
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Development
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Estimator/Project Analyst s primary responsibility is to generate estimates and inform the Department of the financial status of store Design Development relative to the established/approved Target Budget throughout the development process.
Analyze design development packages and completed architectural construction documents to determine scope of work and develop estimates for all projects across all Brands.
Attend Design Review meeting and prepare updated estimates throughout the design development process.
Inform the design team and Development managers of the fiscal status of the design relative to the established budgetary goals.
Assist Project Manager s as necessary in the qualification of Contractor bids.
Maintain a running data base of all development related costs and provide periodic reports summarizing key financial statistics and economic trends.
Work with financial team to ensure that all necessary financial controls are implemented and maintained.
Must possess a general knowledge of construction trade standards, construction documents, design, scheduling and management.
Must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
Must possess strong communication skills.
Must be a team player; able to partner with cross functional teams.
Must be able to work with competing priorities and be flexible as projects may change in scope and direction.
3-5 years of previous construction estimating experience preferred.
Industry related Bachelor s degree preferred.
